Terms of Service

What StockPilot does

StockPilot AI is a workflow tool for stock photographers. It scores how sellable your photos are, generates platform-ready titles, descriptions, and keywords, and exports CSV files formatted for stock marketplaces such as Shutterstock and Adobe Stock. StockPilot is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, those marketplaces.

Your account

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be able to form a binding contract and use the service in a permitted region (US & Canada at launch).

Your content and ownership

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. StockPilot claims no ownership of your images. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process your images so we can provide the service — for example, storing them privately, reading their dimensions/EXIF, scoring them, and sending them to our AI provider to generate metadata. We do not sell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise exploit your images.

You are responsible for holding the rights to the images you upload and for obtaining any model or property releases required by the marketplaces you submit to.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you do not have the rights to, or content that is illegal.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its usage limits.
• Do not use the service to violate the terms of the stock platforms you submit to.

Plans, billing & cancellation

• Free, Pro, and Agency plans each include a fixed monthly cap on scores and AI metadata generations. There is no "unlimited" plan.
• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

No guarantee of acceptance or earnings

Sellability scores and generated metadata are guidance, not guarantees. Whether a stock marketplace accepts an image, how it ranks, and what you earn are entirely up to that marketplace and the buyers on it. StockPilot does not guarantee approval, rankings, or income.

Service availability

We work to keep StockPilot available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and parts of the AI pipeline may be updated or temporarily unavailable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockPilot AI and Big Bad Agency are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
